Washington Metropolitan Area Transit Commission

The Washington Metropolitan Area Transit Commission exists pursuant to Titles I and II of the Washington Metropolitan Area Transit Regulation Compact, which were amended and reprinted in their entirety in 1990 in Public Law 101-505. In 2010, an amendment regarding appointment of Commissioners was enacted in Public Law 111-160.
